The pandemic was a creative boom for me. I was in my home in Argentina. I dared to immerse myself in the waters of my unconscious, also to navigate different processes of artmaking. I got into a lot of experimentation and playing, accompanied by a lot of personal introspection.
The primary subjects of Quesada´s work are movement, light, abstraction and soft, blurry lines. These ingredients are all important, because she looks for the hidden beauty in people, nature, shadows or reflections, changing the perception of reality, by blurring the sense of scale.

Desde que comenzó la cuarentena vinieron a mi cabeza muchas obras que, aun sin haberlo querido, ponen en imagen aquello que resulta por momentos redundante nombrar, porque en efecto todo esto es un poco irreal y muchxs no logramos salir de la perplejidad que nos genera este tiempo.
Our work practices will change direction after this pandemic. We will have to rethink ourselves, work and the world.
After this Dantesque and global crisis new ideas will emerge (they are already emerging), an option can be opened for a more solidary and egalitarian world, for a greater concern for all sectors of society, for society as a whole.

Cuando retornemos, sugiere a que volveremos a lo conocido. ¿Volveremos a algo conocido? Pensar que conozco lo que nos va a pasar es una ilusión que sugiere que nos espera algún tipo de certeza que nos dará tranquilidad. Imaginarnos que volver a ocupar los lugares anteriores va a alcanzar, ya no nos sirve.
